Our Spring Referral Program Continues!
What a beautiful Spring we’ve had here on the Main Line! Between the birdsongs, the flowering trees, and the clear skies, we hope each of you have been able to enjoy the simple pleasures of this time of year 🌷☀️
The office here at Main Line Dental Club has been brightened up with seasonal flowers, sunny days, and of course, all our members’ 1,000 watt smiles! We are in the thick of the Spring Referral program, which ends June 30th, so there’s still time to participate and WIN! Here’s the low-down: the member who refers the most new members to the Club will receive a $500 check from us as a thank you 💫 we like to say it’s a win-win-win (for yourself, new members, and for our team!).
Send someone our contact page today and get in on this fun, friendly competition!
What Actually Causes Cavities?
While everyone’s situation is unique, the three most essential points that contribute to cavities are as follows:
- Consumption of too much sugar
- An excessively acidic oral environment
- An imbalance of oral bacteria
Most people are aware of the first point, but what about the acidity and balance of bacteria in our mouth? To avoid getting lost in the weeds, we simply recommend that you:
- Enjoy a range of alkaline foods like vegetables and fruits
- Keep hydrated by drinking water (no sugary drinks, please!)
- Avoid antibacterial mouthwash, as this can disrupt the natural balance of bacteria in your mouth
- Focus on eating single-ingredient foods (i.e. unprocessed foods)

The Let Them Theory by Mel Robbins
Recently I picked up The Let Them Theory, an enjoyable nonfiction book in the motivational/self-help genre. It was a quick read. Like more books in this category the idea is great, but it feels repetitive when you expound upon it to make a full book. Thus actual content is about 40% of the book and the rest is filler. That being said, it is fun filler and cute stories. The main premise is to focus on what you can control (yourself) and let go of trying to control others. I think it is a very helpful reminder. Especially in the age of social media etc. People’s opinions are everywhere and if you are a people pleaser (like myself) you can get really bogged down. The book was a great reminder to me personally to look inside to make changes rather than outside.
